7th Annual School Readiness Symposium :

Fairfax Futures supports the early childhood community in a variety of ways, including hosting an annual school readiness symposium that brings together an average of 300 early childhood educators from child care, preschool and elementary schools to address issues related to young children’s school readiness. Past topics have included Play and Integrating the Arts in Early Learning. In 2011, this symposium focused on comprehensively integrating Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) into early learning.
