The 22nd Annual School Readiness Symposium will be held on May 2, bringing together early childhood educators, community partners, and advocates for a day centered on advancing school readiness and supporting young children and families.
This year’s event will feature a keynote by Dr. Anjali Ferguson, Clinical Psychologist, titled Holding the Village: Trauma-Informed Practice Through Community and Cultural Humility. The session will highlight the essential role educators play as both service providers and builders of belonging, offering practical, relationship-centered strategies that build on the work already happening in early childhood settings.
The Symposium will also include Breakout Sessions and a Resource Fair, providing additional opportunities to explore strategies that support high-quality early learning as well as strong family and community partnerships.
