Unequal Access to Quality Preschool

Despite ample evidence that quality early childhood education sets up children for success in school, many families don’t have access to these programs. A new report from the U.S. Department of Education shows that 60 percent of 4-year-olds are not enrolled in publicly funded preschool programs.
