Fairfax Futures Welcomes Kubie Rudd as Newest Board Member

Fairfax Futures is pleased to welcome Ms. Kubarikiwa (Kubie) Rudd to its Board of Directors. As a Virginia native, born in Alexandria, Ms. Rudd has deep roots in this community and a strong commitment to the education landscape in the DMV. For the past 8 years, she has served as an educator in the DMV region, and currently is the Director of Education at Fusion Academy Reston.

She holds a BFA from Pepperdine University and an MFA from American University, and throughout her career, has had the privilege of journeying with students and their families from early childhood through university as an educator, mentor, and dedicated stakeholder. Her passion lies in creative exploration and meaningful differentiated instruction, and she looks forward to bringing this perspective to the important work of Fairfax Futures.
