Fairfax Futures is pleased to welcome Ryan Quillard to its Board of Directors.

Quillard serves as Northern Virginia’s local Scholastic Account Executive, where he provides thought partnership on literacy solutions in both the classroom and the home. He is responsible for leading school and district collaborations with Scholastic across the region.

Prior to his current role, Quillard was the Education Tutoring Manager at Paper, supporting Prince William and Arlington County Public Schools. There, he led the implementation and adoption of the districts’ K-12 on-demand tutoring program. Before that, he worked with EAB, helping regional public universities adopt technology solutions that leveraged research and predictive analytics to boost student retention and graduation rates.

Recognized by a university provost as a “student success practitioner,” Quillard embraces that identity fully describing himself as a relentless advocate for learners at every level. His career has taken him from higher education to K-12 tutoring and now to early childhood literacy.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in business entrepreneurship, sociology, and education from the University of Notre Dame. Outside of work, Quillard enjoys spending time with his wife and twenty-month-old son—an aspiring Falls Church High School graduate—and playing bike polo.
